Cramer's Lightning Round - I Don't Fool Around, I'm A ConEd Guy (2/25/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Tuesday February 25.

Bullish Calls:

ConEd (NYSE:ED): "I'm a ConEd guy. I don't fool around. I want a nice, steady yield."

Palo Alto Networks (NYSE:PANW): "We like Palo Alto. This company has got it going."

Kinder Morgan Partners (NYSE:KMP): "It did a secondary lower than I would have liked, and there is a negative article about it, but the stock is fine. This group acts not very well, but I'm not a seller of KMP, I'm a buyer. CEO Rich Kinder has made people a lot of money."

Vodafone (NASDAQ:VOD), Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "I like VOD, and I like VZ. VOD has more opportunity if things go better in Europe, and VZ has a great yield and is good on wireless."

JPMorgan (NYSE:JPM): "I'm a big bank guy. I like JPM."

Plains All-American Pipeline (NYSE:PAA): "It is a solid pipeline company with growth and a good yield. You are fine."

Neutral Call:

Tupperware (NYSE:TUP): "We have to have CEO Rick Goings on the show. That last quarter was not up to snuff. He is straightforward and has made us a lot of money. I can't opine right now."

Bearish Calls:

Symantec (NASDAQ:SYMC): "I'm not a buyer (Cramer prefers Palo Alto Networks)."

Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW): "You need interest rates higher to get Schwab to go higher. They make money on your deposits, and without higher rates, it will take a while."

ITC Holdings (ITC): Cramer prefers ConEd.
