Microvision (NASDAQ:MVIS) has a developing technology that dates back to the late 90s called the pico projector. On February 20th, the company's share price received a big boost from Sony's announcement of a pico projector module based on Microvision's PicoP technology. Evidence suggests this partnership with Sony won't contribute a material amount to Microvision's revenues or bottom line. With a technology that only appeals to a small subset of consumers, MVIS' true value is under $0.50 per share.
