Only 12% of stocks in the S&P 1500 are trading above their 50-day moving averages at the moment. Below are the stocks in the index that are currently trading the farthest above their 50-day moving averages. As shown, Coinstar (CSTR) ranks first at +37.82%. The stock is also up 50% during the current 10%+ market correction. Odyssey (ODSY) is just behind CSTR at +37.62% above its 50-DMA. Sybase (SY), Keithley Instruments (KEI), and Sprint (S) round out the top five. Other notables on the list include Netflix (NFLX), Palm (PALM), NutriSystem (NTRI), and Chipotle (CMG). See, not all is bad in the world of equities.
