Cramer's Lightning Round - I Can Barely Look At Vale (3/5/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday March 5.

Bullish Calls:

Schlumberger (NYSE:SLB): "If you are going to be in that group, you want to be in SLB."

Zogenix (NASDAQ:ZGNX): "This is a pure spec play. If you like spec stocks, this is perfect. This is in the sector I want to for speculation, so it's okay."

Sysco (NYSE:SYY): "This is where you have to be. Well done, and go buy more."

Skyworks (NASDAQ:SWKS): Cramer prefers Skyworks to NXPI Semiconductors.

Neutral Call:

Tesla (NASDAQ:TSLA): "Tesla is a cult stock. It is driven by the power of emotion, and right now the emotions are riding high, so it may go up. That is not necessarily a reason to buy."

Bearish Calls:

Vale (NYSE:VALE): "I can barely look at it ... This one is terrible. It has a good yield, but that doesn't matter. It has been an unfortunate stock pick for the charitable trust, and I regret it. It yields 6%, so I'm not going to sell it now."

Molycorp (MCP): "It is speculative and doesn't have a great balance sheet. I don't want you anywhere near that."

Ballard Power (NASDAQ:BLDP): "It has had a parabolic move. I am not going to endorse that stock."

NXP Semiconductors (NASDAQ:NXPI): Cramer prefers Skyworks.

Chegg (NYSE:CHGG): "It has been a huge disappointment. Sell half, and if it moves up again, sell the rest."

Hercules Offshore (NASDAQ:HERO), Exxon (NYSE:XOM): "HERO is not a great oil and gas service company ... This whole group is getting hit because of disappointing comments from Exxon."
