OmniVision Trading At P/E Of 4.6 Ex. Cash A Tech Value Stock

According to the recent earnings release the cash balance at OmniVision (NASDAQ:OVTI) is $408.9 million including the $15.9 million from the sale of WLCSP stock in the IPO not yet received at year end. In addition, the value of the remaining WLCSP stock net of book value is about $170 million at today's prices (follow the daily stock price of WLCSP by following this link at Bloomberg.com. This totals an amazing $578.9 million divided by 56 million shares or $10.33 per share. So at a price of around $17 about 60% of the share price is in the form of cash and cash equivalents. It's very hard to find any other company with this kind of ratio...
