Cramer's Lightning Round - China Is No Problem For General Electric Long Term (3/14/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday March 14.

Bullish Calls:

  • General Electric (NYSE:GE): "You have to own it. It is paying a good dividend. It is restructuring. I don't know why it isn't at $26-27. It may be a China problem, but I see no China problem. I think it is a long-term buy."
  • Alcatel-Lucent (ALU): "I like ALU a lot. It can go higher. The whole group is paused because of worries about Europe. Buy, buy, buy."
  • Isis Pharmaceuticals (ISIS): "It is terrific. This group is under pressure. These high momentum stocks go down on a geopolitical crisis, and they bounce back. I think this will."
  • Pembina Pipeline (NYSE:PBA): "This is a good situation. It is very steady. I can't countenance selling that."
  • Biogen Idec (NASDAQ:BIIB): "This is one of my four horsemen of biotech. It can be bought. I know it has had a big move, but it is going higher."
  • F5 Networks (NASDAQ:FFIV): "These $100 stocks trade wildly. This is one of the 2 or 3 best when it comes to the new rollout and the next generation of telco."

Editor's Note: There were no Bearish Calls on Friday's Lightning Round.
