Cramer's Lightning Round - A Stock Called 'Ma' (5/23/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday May 23.

Bullish Calls:

  • MasterCard (NYSE:MA): "That was a great quarter. It is back, and it is bigger than ever. I want to own MA. I'll even call it 'Ma.'"
  • Qiagen (NASDAQ:QGEN): "You've got to hold that stock. As soon as you sell it, it is going to get a takeover bid."
  • Dunkin' Brands (NASDAQ:DNKN), Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX): "DNKN isn't doing much right now. People are worried about the price of coffee. That's wrong. I have a little faith in Dunkin'. You have to take the long-term view. In the meantime, SBUX is better on the fundamentals."
  • Ensco (NYSE:ESV): "I prefer Ensco (to Seadrill). It has the newest and the best and a 6% yield."
  • R.R.Donnelly (NASDAQ:RRD): "The printing direct mail business has stumbled. We like the company, and we like the yield. It is okay, but not blowout."
  • Air Lease (NYSE:AL), Boeing (NYSE:BA): "AL has more game (than Fly Leasing). It is a signal to buy more Boeing."

Bearish Calls:

  • Seadrill (NYSE:SDRL): "It doesn't have the growth we want. People are worried about the dayrates. I prefer Ensco."
  • GameStop (NYSE:GME): "I don't want to be caught in that crossfire."
  • Fly Leasing (NYSE:FLY): Cramer prefers Air Lease.
