Pirate Capital Takes Serious Stake in Pep Boys

In an amended 13D filing on The Pep Boys (PBY), Pirate Capital disclosed an 11.7% stake (6.61 million shares) in the company as of Nov 20th. This is up slightly from the 11.3% stake (6.36 million shares), the firm disclosed in a filing this morning. A quarterly 13F filing showed Pirate owned 5.62 million shares as of September 30th.
