Cramer's Lightning Round - The Refiners Are In A Golden Era (3/27/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday March 27.

Bullish Calls:

  • Marathon Petroleum (NYSE:MPC): "I think the refiners are in a Golden Era. They can take the discount in crude and send it overseas. This is going higher."
  • Wynn Resorts (NASDAQ:WYNN): "A lot of people are worried. It has had a big run. Let's wait for a pullback, but long-term, WYNN is fine and I believe in it."
  • Carlyle Group (NASDAQ:CG), Blackstone Group (NYSE:BX): "Carlyle is good. I prefer Blackstone. These are very good companies. If the IPO market dries up, these will be hurting, so keep that in mind."

Bearish Calls:

  • Rite Aid (NYSE:RAD): "All three of the drug store chains are going down. I'm going to wait until it pulls back a little more and then I will talk about it again."
  • Infoblox (NYSE:BLOX): "I thought that quarter was such a bad quarter. You were blessed that it went up from here. Sell, sell, sell."
  • Insys Therapeutics (NASDAQ:INSY): "This is the kind of stock that is going to be under pressure. As they bring more and more deals (IPOs), this is going down."
