Telecom Argentina: An Extremely Undervalued Situation

It's not often that one comes across an extremely undervalued play in today's markets. Well, that appears to be the case with Telecom Argentina S.A. (NYSE:TEO). There are two main reasons for this. One is the lack of coverage by sell-side analysts. On the most recent earnings call, there were only two sell-side analysts and one analyst from Franklin Resources present. The other reason and the primary one is the fact that the company is in Argentina. For a litany of reasons, the country has been one of the most unpopular for foreign investors over the past fifteen years.
