Cramer's Lightning Round - Brunswick Lowers The Bar (4/25/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Friday April 25.

Bullish Calls:

  • Brunswick (NYSE:BC): "It lowered numbers, and then did the numbers. I think that is fine. This is a good play on the strength of the American consumer. I like the fact it has lowered the bar."
  • Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU): "It reported a good quarter. It is the only Chinese stock I'm recommending. Stick with it. Baidu is good."
  • Sandridge Energy (NYSE:SD): "I think it is dirt cheap. I like the plans it has. I like the CEO. Remember, this is a speculative oil company, but I like what it is doing. SD is for me."

Bearish Calls:

  • Genomic Health (NASDAQ:GHDX): "Everyone has started selling these. This can go still lower."
  • Molycorp (MCP): "I don't like that. I'm a balance sheet guy, and I like core earnings and dividends. Molycorp doesn't have any of that."
  • Epizyme (NASDAQ:EPZM): "This is not what people want right now. It is valuable as a spec. I'd let it come in more, because it doesn't have earnings, and the market is not tolerating stocks that don't have earnings anymore."
