Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Monday April 28.

Bullish Calls:

  • Verizon (VZ): "I thought it was a good call. T-Mobile is going to report. It will probably bash Verizon. Keep your powder dry to do some buying (after T-Mobile's report). I think that VZ is a good stock, and I liked that call."
  • Qualcomm (QCOM): "The quarter was not a great quarter. It is going to have a better 2015 than a 2014. I know that is a long way out, but you are okay with QCOM."
  • Intel (INTC): "Intel is good. It will have a better 2015 than a 2014."
  • Approach Resources (AREX): "It needs more sponsorship ... I don't know why it trades so poorly. It is a good spec, it just needs more backing."
  • Mondelez (MDLZ): "I like the snack business. It is a good business. I think the stock goes higher."

Neutral Call:

  • Shire (SHPG): "A lot of people think it is going to be involved in a deal. I don't speculate on takeovers and acquisitions, because I don't know. But this is rumored, because it is an Irish domicile, and it has that good tax conversion. You should listen to David Faber every morning. He comments on it. He knows more about that than anyone in the world."

Bearish Calls:

  • Rambus (RMBS): Cramer prefers Intel to Rambus.
