Cramer's Lightning Round - Kohl's Own Personal Bear Market (8/4/10)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday August 4.

Bullish Calls

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN): "I think (Barnes & Noble's Nook) is a tough thing to go against Amazon... Amazon is en fuego here."

Leucadia National Corp (NYSE:LUK): "Interesting pastiche, if not a mosaic, of a conglomerate that I actually think could do pretty well."

Huntington Bancshares (NASDAQ:HBAN): "Oh yeah, absolutely every single bank stock has had the world dumped on it because of Fin Reg (financial regulation), but this has done very well, and I would just pull the trigger right here."

Netflix (NASDAQ:NFLX): "Jump in using deep in the money calls...I defend it right here. I think it is coming back."

J Crew (JCG): "May I suggest you take a look at JCG at $35... people have decided it is no good. I think its quarter is going to be okay."

Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL): "My gift to you is Apple."

Neutral Calls:

Open Table (NASDAQ:OPEN): "I just missed this altogether, I feel I can't opine on it. I should have told people to buy it at $20... I don't have the call on this stock."

Bearish Calls

Kohl's (NYSE:KSS): "Man this stock is in its own personal bear market...may I suggest you take a look at J Crew at $35?"

Barnes & Noble (NYSE:BKS): "No, let's take some profits...On that last conference call, they went out of the way to say how much money they had to spend on Nook. I think anyone who buys them is going to have to follow up with several hundred million dollars, and I think that Nook is a tough thing to go against Amazon."

Motorola (MOT): "Sell, sell, sell Motorola...My gift to you is Apple."
