Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Thursday August 5.

Cramer thinks President Obama should make sure that taxpayers who helped pay for the bailout of GM, and not just the company board and the unions, should benefit from GM's IPO.

"This is an out for the president to head-off a problem before it even gets to be a problem, which is that the only the richest clients are going to get this GM deal," Cramer adding, "Who would buy shares in GM and then not want to go buy a GM car?"

This is in keeping with President Obama's remarks that the U.S. taxpayers will be compensated for the aid they gave to GM.

"This is a major opportunity for the president," Cramer said. "I sure hope he doesn't blow it."
