Bullish calls:
Hain Celestial (HAIN): ' ... has stalled at $30, but is going to break out. That's the natural food play. Buy, buy, buy!'
Walter Industries (WLT): 'WLT's cheap as all get out. And it also owns the Mueller, and it also owns a housing company, and it owns coal. What's not to like - WLT!'
Las Vegas Sands (LVS): 'I say hold on. I say that Sheldon Anderson - who is the CEO - is one of the best in the game ... 92 bucks? It's going to bide its time right here. It's digesting the gain, and then it's off to the races again.'
Wynn Resorts (WYNN): ' I would only buy Stevie Wynn.'
Exxon Mobil (XOM): 'How right was I? That stock's going to $80, and it's going to $80 tomorrow! And I think that you should just go buy it. I'd schnitzel it for a trade!'
Lundin Mining (LMC): ' ... you will be so glad you own LMC. I have been trying to buy LMC for my charitable trust. I'm afraid I will move it too much. This is a terrific mineral play, and I think will be on everybody's short list to be acquired within 18 months.'
Cisco (CSCO): 'I think that, if you really need technology, I'm going right back to the well, and telling you to go buy the CSCO.'
AES (AES): - 'I wanted to buy this stock for my charitable trust. I kept thinking it would go back to $18, and I'd do it. Now it's all the way up. This is a monster good company. It's a worldwide power company with a world that needs more power! It's bullish!'
Seagate Technology (STX): ' ... get right into the STX, which I have been buying for the charitable trust. It is way undervalued...'
Bearish calls:
SunOpta (STKL): ' I'm freeing you from that baby, which also happens to be a pup. I think you should go right from there - Sell, sell, sell!'
Intuitive Surgical (ISRG): 'I have felt this stock has been too expensive ever since it went north of $100.'
Dynamic Materials (BOOM): 'We liked it. It was good for a trade, but right now, it's strictly 'don't buy.'
Nuance Communications (NUAN): 'No, I don't want you in those.'
Intevac (IVAC): 'I'm worried about it. It's got the flat-panel display. It's got the hard disk drive thing.'
Suntech Power (STP): 'You know I don't like that group.'
NutriSystem (NTRI): 'Very controversial ... I happen to think that, eventually, that stock will go lower, because it has a bit of a craze.'
