Miriam Metzinger submits: Stocks discussed in the lightning round session of Jim Cramer’s Mad Money TV program, Wednesday December 13. Click on a stock ticker for more analysis:
Openwave Systems (OPWV): 'OPWV is down a lot on an options problem. I think the company's good. I endorse it, but I've got to tell you something, I don't use it.'
Genentech (DNA): 'I am defaulting to DNA, which is just continually getting great Evastin news, and it has to add up to a $100 stock eventually.'
CBOT Holdings (BOT): 'Merging with CME. This is just going to create a powerhouse that I like so much. When these two companies combine, it's just going to be monster good ... And I will be backing up the truck to buy the combined entity.'
Teppco Partners (TPP): 'Normally, I would say I think you ought to ring the register, but the 6.5% yield is good ... This is a nice, safe stock. Two thumbs up, way up.'
Coldwater Creek (NASDAQ:CWTR): 'CWTR is now, at this point, making me look so bad, that it's not just a whipping, but it's a hanging. I believe in the company. It's going regional-to-national. I want you to buy more.'
Bank of America (NYSE:BAC): 'Ken Lewis totally refuted that Merrill Lynch guy who said he was going to make a horrible acquistion ... When we find out why that CFO really quit, we're going to come in with guns blazing to recommend that stock.'
The Knot (KNOT): 'The answer is that I like it, because when I can get 50% growth for 60x earnings, I am going to raise the thumb and say buy the stock.'
Home Solutions of America (HSOA): 'There's a monster short position ... I will not recommend this stock with the possibility ... of causing a short squeeze.'
Halozyme Therapeutics (HTI): 'I feel it's too speculative. It hit the 56-week high today.'
Nokia (NYSE:NOK): 'Over the next year, I think that NOK does absolutely nothing, but you've got a good dividend. NOK - because of price wars ... too hard.'
Cheesecake Factory (NASDAQ:CAKE): ' I'm not a big fan of CAKE ... The stock's down 31%, and darn good cheesecake. Let's do a 'don't buy' on that one; I don't have any conviction.'
Smith & Wesson (NASDAQ:SWHC): 'I pulled the plug on SWHC at $13. One of my best plays that I did. I think the answer to SWHC is no!'
