by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday May 29.

Bullish Calls:

  • Starbucks (NASDAQ:SBUX): "I like it. I want to own the stock."
  • TriQuint Semiconductor (TQNT), Skyworks (NASDAQ:SWKS), Micron (NASDAQ:MU): "I like TriQuint, and I like Skyworks and Micron. Why? Consolidation. There are fewer players, and they are all working."
  • Trinity Industries (NYSE:TRN): "It keeps hitting new highs. We have a shortage of rail cars that is incredible. TRN is our play. I should have gotten behind it earlier, but it is not done (going higher)."
  • TransCanada (NYSE:TRP): "I like pipelines that have growth. It is terrific."

Bearish Calls:

  • Linn Energy (LINE): "It has lost its way. We want earnings growth, so we can get distribution growth. LINE is not giving it to us."
  • Vivus (NASDAQ:VVUS): "I don't know about that. Don't buy. I'm not sure about any kind of takeover."
