Will The Martha Stewart Brand Ever Recover, Or Has It Even Started?

It has been one disaster and fiasco after another at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia (NYSE:MSO), as the company, which should have been a good earner, has only had one profitable year since 2002, and that dismal performance continues.

The hope is now that the highly public litigation is behind it, the company can focus on growth and managing the brand better, which has been under attempted damage control for years.

Unfortunately for the company, Martha Stewart herself, which isn't one to relinquish control in any way, regained the board she wanted in October 2013, when with a deal with J.C. Penney, two of the board members represented by the retailer are no longer serving on the board....
