Stocks discussed on the lightning round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Friday September 17.

Bullish Calls

FedEx (FDX), UPS (UPS): "Yeah, you're right. You're absolutely right. I would pull the trigger there... buy, buy, buy! I also feel like UPS got hit... I think both of these are buys. I would pull the trigger. People overreacted. These are really good companies."

Energizer Holdings (ENR): "Oh, what a stock... what a stock. We liked that when we used to see gradients in our buying in the $30s and $40s. Now the stock has just taken off... $69! A 52-week high. People don't understand this. It's not just the Energizer bunny (i.e., batteries), but it is also Schick, the razor blade company. It's a great company. It is still inexpensive. Buy, buy, buy! It reported a quarter that was one of the best beats of the year. I think it goes higher."

Intuitive Surgical (ISRG): "Aright, remember we did... what we did is we talked to Ken Shreve who's a terrific technician... He felt the stock had a lot of weakness. I said that Intuitive Surgical was a buy, and buy more on weakness. I reiterate that position."

Windstream Corporation (WIN), CenturyLink (CTL): "I like the yield! I think it's real. I think the yield is terrific... buy, buy, buy! I am also going to talk about CenturyLink Inc. Both of those two companies are good...buying Windstream, buying CenturyLink."

Bearish Calls:

Visa: (V): "The government just doesn't like how much money this company makes right now... I don't want to put a gun to my head with Visa. Even though this is a great, great company... if the government doesn't like it... don't buy, don't buy... I've got to say don't buy. The government's too powerful. I wish I could say stick with Visa."

Hewlett-Packard (HPQ): "Yeah, it's neither here nor there, frankly. We've got to see who's the new CEO. Oracle reported a great quarter. They got Mr. Hurd from Hewlett-Packard. I need to know who the CEO is before I buy a company. It's one of my rules... When they change the CEO, you don't buy it in the first year, and that's exactly what we have with Hewlett-Packard."

Chimera Investment (CIM): "It has not done well. I don't want to put it in those categories... don't buy, don't buy, don't buy..."

Frontier Communications (FTR): "Frontier Communications Corp... the yield is coming down... sell, sell, sell! Oh-oh, we're selling Frontier..."
