Cramer's Stop Trading! $1,300 for Gold Is Not a Top (9/27/10)

 |  Includes: LUV, NKE, UA
by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on Jim Cramer's Stop Trading! TV Segment, Monday September 27.

Southwest Airlines (NYSE:LUV), AirTran (AAI), Nike (NYSE:NKE), Under Armour (NYSE:UA)

Cramer doesn't think $1,300 is a top for gold and predicts the yellow metal will rise higher as demand tightens. He would also buy silver because it is much cheaper than gold. Southwest Airlines (LUV) acquired AirTran (AAI) at a "great price," and Cramer thinks with earnings estimates so low, the airline is set for a "blowout quarter."

With stocks up, there is a lot of mistrust about stocks, but Cramer thinks investors are unduly cautious. He pointed to strength in retail, especially Nike (NKE) and Under Armour (UA) as reasons to believe in stocks.
