Perion Networks - A Sinking Ship, An Immediate Short Opportunity With A 40% Downside

Company Description

Perion (NASDAQ:PERI) was formed in Israel in 1999, and has been a public company since 2006.

The company underwent several changes since its inception, and was most commonly known as Incredimail.

In 2011, the company changed its name to Perion in order to better reflect the diverse nature of its business.

The current Perion is a hybrid formed in 2014 as a reversed merger between ClientConnect, a division of Conduit (a privately-held company) and Perion (a public company), as a result, former ClientConnect became the majority holder in the public company. The merger was done by new stock allocation, thus diluting Perion's existing shareholders.
