Bed Bath and Beyond (NASDAQ:BBBY) took its roots in 1971 selling primarily bed linens and bath accessories. It took 14 years for the founders to expand into the "Beyond" category of the products, which you see in the BBBY stores today.

BBBY primarily sells Domestic Merchandise which includes categories such as bed linens, bath items, kitchen textiles etc., and Home furnishings which include categories such as kitchen and tabletop items, general home furnishings, consumables etc. Domestic merchandise comprises 35 - 40% sales with the remaining coming from Home furnishings.
