Cramer's Lightning Round - I Like Nike (7/10/14)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday July 10.

Bullish Calls:

  • Nike (NYSE:NKE), Under Armour (NYSE:UA): "I like Nike. I know it doesn't act well, but it put up a good quarter. Under Armour is a bit more speculative, but both should be owned."
  • American Airlines (NASDAQ:AAL): Cramer is bullish on American Airlines.
  • GW Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:GWPH): "Is a company that makes cannabinoid, and that is the pure form of marijuana. It is a British and not an American company, because it is a class A felony for any American drug company to develop cannabinoid, and I think it is a good prospect, meaning it is a spec ... specs go up and down like this, and if you can't stomach it, you have to sell."
  • GT Advanced Technologies (GTAT): "I think it is fine, but you sell half and let the rest run."
  • Ensco (NYSE:ESV): "I need you to be in Ensco. Swap out of Transocean, and step up to Ensco."
  • OPKO Health (NYSEMKT:OPK): "That is a spec. This is like GW Pharma. These trade up and down, and you have to get used to the volatility."
  • Skyworks (NASDAQ:SWKS): "I'd rather buy Skyworks (than Cirrus Logic). It is less speculative."

Bearish Calls:

  • Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ:CRUS): "It has the best technology, but I'd rather buy Skyworks."
  • Annaly Capital (NYSE:NLY): "I was positive when the late Mike Farrell ran it. I did cool to it with the change in rate structure, so I am not going to recommend that stock."
