On June 30, 2014, The Timken Company (NYSE:TKR) announced that it had completed its spin-off of TimkenSteel Corporation (NYSE:TMST). Post-separation, TKR remains focused on designing, manufacturing and marketing bearings, transmissions, gearboxes and related products, and offering power system rebuilds and repair services around the world. TKR had revenues of about USD3 billion in 2013 (excluding TMST). It has approximately 17,000 people operating from 28 countries and a market capitalization of around USD4.5 billion.
