Summary

Buyside analysts Ryan Ruggard and Mike Czekaj discuss their calls for this quarter in the consumer internet space.

When Yelp chooses to turn on that EPS spigot and how it may impact the multiple at which the stock trades.

Our analysts also explore and discuss Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn in this first podcast.

For our first analyst highlight call this season, we brought together buyside analysts Ryan Ruggard of Ruggard & Associates and Mike Czekaj of Broadleaf Partners to discuss their calls for this quarter in the consumer internet space.

We discussed four specific names: Yelp (NYSE:YELP), LinkedIn (NYSE:LNKD), Twitter (NYSE:TWTR) and Facebook (NASDAQ:FB). Some interesting themes emerged during the call regarding the timing of when Yelp will choose to turn on that EPS spigot and how it may impact the multiple the stock trades at, the recent slowdown in LinkedIn’s ability to push its bottom line numbers and when that may change, how investors view Twitter regarding its revenue growth vs. growth in its monthly active users, and the size and scale of Facebook’s advertising model.

We hope these calls will be a valuable addition to the platform, and highlight some of the really great performances by specific analysts who add so much value to the community.
