Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday July 16.

Bullish Calls:

  • Caterpillar (NYSE:CAT): "It is going to have a good quarter. If you want excitement in investment, go with CAT. It is a growth stock."
  • Kroger (NYSE:KR): "I think Kroger has the best fundamentals, and that is an old-school food chain."

Bearish Calls:

  • AOL (NYSE:AOL): "It was not a great quarter. I had felt the company is turning around, but I am now feeling there is so much competition for them ... right now it does not seem strong to me."
  • Sprouts Farmers Market (NASDAQ:SFM): "It probably has the best growth of any in the group, but I'm concerned, because the competition is so amazing. Too hot for this guy."
  • CYS Investments (NYSE:CYS): "I say a dividend like that (14%) is a red flag that is unsustainable in this environment, given low interest rates."
