Francesca's Holdings: Does That 'Broad And Shallow' Model Work?

The very word "model" conjures up different meanings in varying contexts. Model can mean a copy or replica. It can also mean an example, usually a prime example. In the case of Francesca's Holdings (NASDAQ:FRAN), it's difficult to find a bull case without a reference to its business model.
