Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Wednesday July 23.

Bullish Calls:

  • Hexcel (NYSE:HXL): "People have turned on the aerospace cycle. I think they have turned prematurely. I think people are worried about problems in the Middle East. I think it is a mistake to write off the aerospace cycle. I'm a buyer."
  • Magnum Hunter (MHR): "MHR is a speculative oil play. You have to ride it up and down."
  • Dow (NYSE:DOW): "Dow's quarter was exceptional. Dow makes sense."
  • Skyworks (NASDAQ:SWKS): "The one that did (an exceptional number) was Skyworks Solutions, and you need to be in that."

Bearish Calls:

  • Core Labs (NYSE:CLB): "That last quarter was very bad. I need to see if they put up another quarter, but that quarter put them in the penalty box."
  • Cirrus Logic (NASDAQ:CRUS): "It needed to do an exceptional number in that space (Cramer prefers Skyworks)."
  • PolyOne (NYSE:POL): Cramer prefers Dow.
