Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Thursday July 24.

Bullish Calls:

  • Inovio Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ:INO): "It has irons on the fire. This is the kind of company Janet Yellen doesn't like, but I like it on a speculative basis."
  • JD.com (NASDAQ:JD), Baidu (NASDAQ:BIDU): "I'm only recommending JD.com and Baidu in China. Baidu had a huge quarter. I'm not recommending any other Chinese stocks."
  • United Technologies (NYSE:UTX): "My charitable trust owns it. This stock is going lower for now. The quarter is fine. People didn't like the organic growth or defense. That was a mistake. I think you own it. It is a terrific company, but it's going down a couple of bucks."
  • Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL), Facebook (NASDAQ:FB), Google (NASDAQ:GOOG), (NASDAQ:GOOGL): "IBM is doing that deal with Apple. I think it is better for Apple than IBM. I'd rather go with Apple, Google or Facebook. All three have real growth and good business plans."

Bearish Calls:

  • Tupperware (NYSE:TUP): "TUP had a couple of soft quarters. I didn't like that last quarter. CEO Rick Goings, come back on the show. I didn't see anything in the last quarter that made me want to pound the table."
  • IBM (NYSE:IBM): "IBM is doing that deal with Apple. I think it is better for Apple than IBM."
  • Kandi Technologies (NASDAQ:KNDI): "I took some heat on this one ... here's the problem. I'm only recommending JD.com and Baidu in China. I'm not recommending any other Chinese stocks."
  • Clean Energy Fuels (NASDAQ:CLNE): "It is going down for a reason, because it has no earnings. Stocks with no earnings are not going higher. The natural gas revolution didn't happen. Natural gas stocks are making a lot of money, but not the gas station kind."
