With the exception of gold, most commodities are following the lead of equities and trading lower today. Today's weakness has caused the CRB Commodity Index CRBQ to trade below its 50-day moving average for the first time in three months. Since hitting a 52-week high just two weeks ago, the index has now seen a decline of over 8%.
