It has long been accepted thought that college graduates have far greater prospects for employment and earnings potential than non-graduates do. That belief was further reinforced earlier this year with the release of a new survey from the respected Pew Research organization. This survey revealed that 25-32 year-olds holding 4-year degrees are making an average of 50% more than those with two-year degrees or only some college. They are also averaging 62.5% higher incomes than those who only possess a high school diploma. The unemployment rate is also less than half that of the other two groups.
