Cramer's Lightning Round - Has Ford Run Out of Gas? (12/14/10)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday December 14.

Bullish Calls:

Ford (NYSE:F): (when asked if Ford has run out of gas) "No. Ford has issued a lot of stock. There is a lot of consolidation. Mark my words on is why I like Ford and I think its earnings power is huge. I think they have a union thing next year...they are going to deal with it..the balance sheet is good. I remember the days in the 80s when the car companies would double and double again. It would not shock me to see Ford at $20-25 in a very quick fashion as soon as the year begins."

EMC (EMC), VMware (NYSE:VMW): "The only one (tech supplier) I like is is cheaper and better and has a big stake in VMware."

Celgene (NASDAQ:CELG): "If I want to buy biotech, I'll buy Celgene... it's down on its luck."

Bearish Calls:

Terremark Worldwide (NASDAQ:TMRK): "This is another one of these info tech stocks that have moved so much I am not a buyer..."

DreamWorks Animation (NASDAQ:DWA): "Here's the problem is too hit or miss... I have tried to game that stock. I don't like the movie companies... so I am not going to rec that stock."

Gilead Sciences (NASDAQ:GILD): "Man that is an express train to nowhere. I have friends who think this thing is finally going to merge. I gave up on the stock. I am not a buyer. If I want to buy biotech, I'll buy Celgene... it's down on its luck."
