by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round segment of Jim Cramer's Mad Money Program, Monday August 18.

Bullish Calls:

  • Priceline (NASDAQ:PCLN), Expedia (NASDAQ:EXPE): "It is too bad that all the good companies are in one industry. Priceline is good. Expedia is good. I talk too much about PCLN and not enough about Expedia."
  • AbbVie (NYSE:ABBV): "This is a good stock."
  • Randgold (NASDAQ:GOLD): "I will default to Randgold. When the CEO says there is one more big find, then GOLD will be the place for me."

Bearish Calls:

  • IAMGOLD (NYSE:IAG): "No, I am not gold, nor am I a buyer of gold.
  • Transocean (NYSE:RIG), Ensco (NYSE:ESV): "I don't trust the group. The analysts hate it too much. When the last guy, JPMorgan, downgrades ESV, then it is okay to buy ESV."
