After months of making Longterm Ratings reports with Buy, Sell, Hold ratings and buying ranges, we are ready to begin making these companies come alive in a brand new Longterm Ratings Portfolio. The portfolio will be a way for us to track our positions, make recommendations on what to get into, and allow you the visitor to use these ratings reports more effectively as you can see how The Oxen Group uses them in a mock portfolio.

Currently, we cover 23 companies. We are looking to continue to increase our coverage. We now have enough companies, where we feel we can make a nice portfolio of our Longterm Investments. Our Mock Portfolio that will cover these will have $50,000 that we will partition across a number of companies that we believe are strong buys.

The Longterm Portfolio does not have a time length on any given position. Rather, we are investing into these positions based on valuations. We believe stocks should trade at certain levels that they are not at yet, so we pick them up. We will have targeted exits that we will hold for. We will have stop losses in place, but they will be moveable.

Let's get into the positions we currently want to take on.

We have 11 positions that we like. We want to keep some of the money available as we want to add new positions while we hold some of these others. We will keep $10,000 available still. The other $40,000 we will move across these 11 positions. You can pick and choose which below you like and add as much money as you would like to them all. We are going to dedicate less to short sales since they are more risky. We will do $4,000 for each Buy and $2,000 for each Short Sale.

Baidu (BIDU) – Baidu is a growing Chinese company that we are very fond of over the long haul with a FV estimate at $176. We think this one will take off in the same way Google has. It has a lot of potential as the Chinese market grows.

Entry: We are involved at 99.07.

Exit: We are looking to start unloading our position as this moves to $176.

Big Lots (BIG) – Big Lots has established itself well to come out of the recession with a new image and strong brand name. The company has grown its client base exceptionally, and it has entered great new markets.

Entry: We are involved at 30.52.

Exit: We are looking to unload as this position moves toward $52.

China Automotive (CAAS) – China Automotive is a company that has tons of potential to continue to grow in the Chinese market. The automotive industry still has plenty of room to grow in China, and CAAS is a leader. Additionally, the company is starting to spread its wings outside of China.

Entry: We are involved at 13.33.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves toward $22.

Cree (CREE) – Cree is a Short Sale. We believe this stock is well overvalued given current financials and the position has lots of downside. The stock has made a great move, but it should pull back before it moves higher.

Entry: We are shorting at 66.46.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $54.

Dean Foods (DF) – Dean Foods has been kicked to the curb after a rough couple of quarters. This stock is at all-time lows, and it has tons of potential. If the company can just get its feet underneath it, they will run out of this jam and so will the stock.

Entry: We are involved at 8.61.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $18.

First Solar (FSLR) – First Solar has lost some its allure as the leader in solar, but this is still a great company. They will definitely be able to make a strong move as solar continues to grow in 2011.

Entry: We are involved at 130.14.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $180.

Frontier (FTR) – Frontier has moved greatly since we first started to cover this stock, but it has tons more to go. This is going to be the final leader in telephone services before cellular services make the home phone obsolete. In that run, though, this stock has potential.

Entry: We are involved at 9.70.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $16.

Green Mountain Coffee Roasters (GMCR) – I love K-Cup. I love their products. I loath their management and stock. It is a pumped-up balloon with a little bit of funfetti inside, but it is not enough to cover the entire balloon. This company has shown the first signs of their struggle, and it will continue.

Entry: We are shorting this one at 32.08.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $22.

Ruth's Hospitality (RUTH) – Ruth's Hospitality is the one that can soar. We like this company a lot. We think it is well run, has a great product, and has a lot of potential to grow. Out of the recession, this will be a winner.

Entry: We are involved at 4.76.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards double digits.

SunPower Corporation (SPWRA) – A solar power company with a bright future in the USA. This company produces quality products and is an American favorite. Two great combos.

Entry: We are involved at 13.02.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards the $20s.

Trina Solar (TSL) – This stock has no business being as low as it is. It has done nothing but beat earnings, raise guidance, plan for the future, and be run efficiently. It is the leader in solar, and if it is not, it should be.

Entry: We are involved at 23.01.

Exit: We are looking to unload this position as it moves towards $37.
