One of the toughest things about being a stock investor is being disciplined about not overpaying for companies that are doing everything right. PNC Financial Services (NYSE:PNC) falls into this category. The bank is in that sweet spot of regional firms that I like - it's big enough to have clout and cost advantages, but not so big that it attracts undue regulatory attention. The ~$45B market cap company operates in 19 states with the greatest focus on PA, OH, and NJ.
