Includes: C, DECK, HD, LOW, PNRA, S, VZ
by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday January 12.

Bullish Calls:

Verizon (NYSE:VZ): "I vastly prefer Verizon to Sprint. I like yield."

Lowe's (NYSE:LOW): "Lowe's is now where Home Depot was. I see genuine improvement... management is more focused. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot here."

Citigroup (NYSE:C): "The stock hasn't kept pace the way I like...I think C is terrific... it crossed $5, the government is done (selling stock). I think the earnings are going to be great. The banking group is my favorite sector. This will be an international bank by 2012. Is it going to be 12 by the end of 2012? That is a little too bullish. When I said that, I thought it would be a little further. I see huge percentage gains for Citi. I would buy buy buy."

Deckers (NASDAQ:DECK): "This one is the cheapest of all (of Cramer's F.A.D.S. C.A.N growth stocks) the CEO is going to do a terrific job. I think the men's UGGs are selling well...and I think Deckers is going much much higher."

Bearish Calls:

Panera Bread (NASDAQ:PNRA): "This is a difficult situation, Ron Shaich, the CEO is now Chairman ...I hate to buy a stock in the first year of transition...but it has food with integrity and people want that... Panera over 100? I would like to buy it at 90. I think below 90 if it gets there is really fabulous."

Home Depot (NYSE:HD): "Home Depot has had a run. I prefer Lowe's over Home Depot here."

Sprint (NYSE:S): "Is in speculation...its survival is no longer an issue...restructuring is still an issue. It does not have growth."
