According to the American Diabetes Association in an article found here, the number of people with diagnosed and undiagnosed diabetes is expected to increase from 23.7 million people in 2009 to 44.1 million people in 2034. Additionally, the obesity distribution of the population without diabetes will stand at approximately 65%.
