Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday January 20.
Bullish Calls:
Discovery Communications (DISCA): "That thing has come back down... you can watch their programming over and over again. They have terrific low costs, they are well-run. I am a buyer right here."
Verizon (VZ): "The CEO is doing a great job, lost a lot of the Apple iPhone fluff, and now it has a good yield, has a great business plan, and is a quintessential Cramerican stock. You should stick with or buy back your Verizon stock."
Bearish Calls:
Teva (TEVA) Pharmaceuticals: "I like it. I got tired of worries about the MS drug people think is going to be genericized and ruin the margins. I think it is okay. Is it a buy buy, buy? No, but I think it is a very smart company. They are good guys and one day people will start liking that stock again."
Equinix (EQIX): "A server play... I would be a seller of EQIX because I don't think the data centers, the physical space, is going to grow the way people think."
