Cramer's Lightning Round - Gold Isn't Working Right Now (1/25/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday January 25.

Bullish Calls:

Royal Dutch Shell (NYSE:RDS.A), Total SA (NYSE:TOT): "That (Royal Dutch Shell) is a very undervalued situation. I will throw in Total as being undervalued. Those two foreign companies don't get the respect they deserve. They are re-inventing themselves."

Amazon (NASDAQ:AMZN): "I want you to be in that stock. I like the deep in the money call philosophy. People are selling off these high multiple stocks. I like Amazon. I am not backing away long term. It is Wal-Mart online. It is going to stay a winner."

Yahoo (NASDAQ:YHOO): " I feel like this is a total stump the chump situation, but I haven't been on the Yahoo call, I've been doing the we are not going to hazard a guess about what Yahoo is going to do. I have to come back to it. My apologies."

Bearish Calls:

Goldcorp (NYSE:GG): "Everyone is giving me a hard time. Gold is down January. Gold is not going to rally in January. Gold is in a long-term bull market, but right now it is not working. We are not going to buy gold until the end of the month, and then we'll take a hard look."

Applied Signal Technology (APSG): "Bulls make money, bears make money, hogs get slaughtered. You have one of the greatest gains in the history of the Western World. You are going to take it and walk away."
