Cramer's Lightning Round - EMC Has All the Good of Dell, And None of the Bad (2/16/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday February 16.

Bullish Calls:

EMC (EMC): "When I saw Dell report that quarter, and Dell has got consumer and enterprise, and the enterprise was on fire for Dell, I thought EMC would be up at least a dollar, and I tell you that stock is headed to $30. I tell you that stock has all the good of Dell and none of the bad, that stock should have been higher today."

DuPont (NYSE:DD): "Dupont is great, CEO Ellen Kullman, she's two thumbs up... they have a great business. They have done a lot of things in life sciences and healthcare that people don't give them credit for, and their other businesses are coming back too. That stock's a winner."

US Bancorp (NYSE:USB): "I like USB better than Hudson City Bancorp."

Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD): "Yes it is (a good buy) have to look at the cash flow...some of these MLPs you can't just look at the earnings per share. The cash flow is huge, the dividend is very safe, it is one of my absolutely favorite MLPs. You should own that... it is perfect for diversification."

Chevron (NYSE:CVX), ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP): (concerning a lawsuit in Ecuador) "We are not worried about that lawsuit, I bet you they will never pay a nickel. As much as I like Ecuador, and that is a pretty darn good country, I very strongly believe Chevron is not going to pay. Should you own Chevron? I'd like for it it to come down. I don't like it as much as some of the other oils. I don't like it as much as Conoco after the new restructuring Conoco announced, but you can do a lot worse than Chevron. Don't worry about that lawsuit. It is not going to be material."

Bearish Calls:

Power-One (NASDAQ:PWER): "I went to their website because I thought this stock sounded like a million bucks, and I thought I'm going to recommend it, but you know what...power test equpment for solar conversion? No it is not a good business... it is just a sexy sounding business, and I remain should sell, sell, sell it."

Travelzoo (NASDAQ:TZOO): "No. Another one where they should have had a blowout quarter... it was not a blowout quarter. I don't know how you are going to have one if they didn't have one this quarter. That is my new rule. If they didn't have one this quarter they ain't going to have it."

Hudson City Bancorp (NASDAQ:HCBK): "The only reason I'm sticking by Hudson is its 5% hasn't got growth, because it is a New Jersey bank...and New Jersey is under a lot of's got a good dividend but it hasn't got growth, and I like growth."
