Cramer's Lightning Round - Sonus Finally Gets It Right (2/28/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Monday February 28.

Bullish Calls

Sonus Networks (NASDAQ:SONS): "I was watching this thing jump 20% after the close... I still favor Ciena... do a deep dive on this Sonus because it does seem like a remarkable thing... these guys were just chronically missing the quarter. Looks like they finally made it... maybe it is finally right."

Chico's FAS (NYSE:CHS): "They are doing well, but I would not countenance using deep in the money calls. This is just a $13 stock. You can buy the common, but you are right. I like the trends there, and I don't tend to like the retail."

Consol (NYSE:CNX), Peabody (BTU), Walter Energy (NYSE:WLT): "I like coal so, so much, even though this (Consol) is not one of my favorite coal companies. I feel very strongly you can still buy it. I like Peabody. Walter is such a homerun. I like Walter so much."

Acuity Brands (NYSE:AYI): "This is great... this is a lightning company. I look at the charts every week. I did the research. It is still inexpensive. Stay in it."

Riverbed (NASDAQ:RVBD): "You have to have this... this is communcations... it is still the rage. I think you should own the stock."

Bearish Calls

Cameco (NYSE:CCJ): "Look... you know I am a passionate believer in natural gas and a huge believer in nuclear power... it is almost impossible to start a nuclear power plant here... it is a wild trader... if energy comes down a lot, you'll get killed in it."
