Cramer's Lightning Round - Starwood Hotels: Either Check In or Check Out (3/7/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Monday March 7.

Bullish Calls:

Starwood Hotels (HOT): "You bought it high...this is a great stock, and? I've been watching you like the company? If you like the company, then you buy more...if you don't like the company or relied on me and did not homework, I want you out of the stock. This is a great company run by a terrific guy, Fritz Von Paschen. Either you like it and you should buy more or you don't know it and you go."

Polypore (NYSE:PPO): "I am always going to default to Polypore....It has had a monster run... if it comes in, that is the better play (than ABAT)."

PDL BioPharma (NASDAQ:PDLI): "I am going to take a pass on it and do work on it. I don't know how they offer that yield. I got to see what they have... I have to come back on that company. I do not know it well enough to opine on it."

Bearish Calls:

Marathon Oil (NYSE:MRO): "You are being too greedy... you are a huge winner my friend, and you have got to take some off the table, if not all of it. It is a clear victory, and it is time to go home."

Advanced Battery Technologies (OTCPK:ABAT): "This has not been my favorite... I go high end when I go to batteries. I am not going to do the ABAT... it is too risky for me even at $3 and change."
