Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday April 5.

Bullish Calls:

Annaly Capital Management (NYSE:NLY): "Mike Farrell, who is CEO... can handle every interest rate hike and every interest rate cut. People are selling the stock... that was a mistake... he's navigated through everything. He even navigated through the worst torture period for this sector and came out smelling like a rose. I say hold onto NLY."

EMC (EMC): "VMware is a pure play on cloud, but here is the problem; I'd rather be in EMC... because it is cheaper and it represents better value."

Yum! Brands (NYSE:YUM): "I think it's doing well... big China play. People are a bit skittish about China... whenever people are skittish on China, I say 'buy.' I think Novak (the CEO) is doing a great job. Yum is terrific."

Phamasset (VRUS), Genzyme (GENZ): "They (Pharmasset) struck gold... they have a new trial drug, an anti bio (biological warfare) drug... these are proprietary small drugs, and they look like Genzyme that got a takeover bid... that's a good one."

Allscripts Healthcare Solutions (NASDAQ:MDRX): "This is what we have been championing... anything that is keeping the cost of medicine down is a winner. These are all Medicare cut plays... I want to continue to own it."

Bearish Calls:

VMware (NYSE:VMW): "VMware is a pure play on cloud, but here is the problem; I'd rather be in EMC..."

Aegean Petroleum Network (NYSE:ANW): "When even the best (in the industry) are not doing that well, I'm not stooping as low as yours because I know the others have better balance sheets."
