Cramer's Lightning Round - Shoot Qihoo Out the Door (4/7/11)

by: Miriam Metzinger

Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Thursday April 7.

Bullish Calls:

First Republic Bank (NYSE:FRC): "I think that is an aboslutely terrific situation... I do like this bank very much and I would be an aggressive buyer here. It has one of the best balance sheets of any bank in the world."

ConocoPhillips (NYSE:COP): "The ugrade is right... the CEO (Jim Mulva) has done more to create value than any major oil executive in the country. He is absolutely terrific, and I'm a buy buy buyer of Conoco."

Jarden (NYSE:JAH): "This one is always undervalued because people don't believe in Martin Franklin (the CEO). I do. He has deilvered tremendous value for people. Even though it is up nicely since he was on the show, I continue to recommend it."

Enterprise Products Partners (NYSE:EPD): "I want you to hold... it is a good situation. I can't tell you to sell it... I can't... this is a challenge of my discipline... my discipline would usually tell me to tell you to take some off the table if not half, but this is a terrific situation."

VFCorp (NYSE:VFC): "Eric Wiseman (the CEO) comes onto every show but mine... do I feel slighted? Absolutely... he's done a remarkable job... he keeps beating the odds, he keeps cutting costs... he's moved big in Europe, I think VFC is still a buy. I would pay up to $110 for it. This stock is smoking, too."

Cubist Pharmaceuticals (CBST): "This one is red hot. Everyone is liking what is going on... they've got a brand new drug... I don't want to cut this, but they just had some news that makes me want to go look at it again... it is so red hot that I would say I've left it. But we are going to come up with a more informed analysis on Cubist. You deserve more than my saying it is too hot."

Bearish Calls:

Qihoo 360 Tech (NYSE:QIHU): "We're not recommending that stock. We wanted to buy it for the deal only... shoot it right out the door."

Micron (NASDAQ:MU): "Is part of what I was worried about with tech. I think it could slow down... they have really good technology. They have flash and they have...DRAM...MU has had a gigantic move. I recommended it at the end of the year... I didn't want to be greedy. I think you could own it through this period, but I don't think it has a lot of upside until the fall when it will go still higher."
