Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Wednesday April 27.
Bullish Calls:
St. Jude Medical (STJ), Abbott Laboratories (ABT): "I like Jude...Abbott is better than that one (Medtronic) too."
Monro Muffler Brake (MNRO), Cummins (CMI): "Monro Muffler is too cheap to be ignored...Even though Cummins has moved to $119, it hasn't made any money since the year began. It is just now catching up. I'd rather see you in Cummins...Cummins is rockin'."
Apple (AAPL): "I understand your frustration...I like the company... any company that has $69 billion in cash, any company that is the greatest retailer in the world, any company that has products we love...I have to use a word that has rarely been associated with anything I've been involved with...Patience! I think this stock can roar again...that is an inexpensive stock and I'm proud to say my charitable trust owns it."
Atlas Energy (AHD): "I think it rocks. I've liked it...that is a dynamite stock...that's a winner. I like that one, and I would stick with the natural gas stocks even though I pick up the paper and read about that cow that died...let me tell you, McDonald's is killing more cows than natural gas."
Bearish Calls:
Wells Fargo (WFC): "We don't want to own banks. We are still waiting to find out the story about that bank and why is it still sainted...maybe because of Warren Buffett. I think WFC it is one of my least favorite in, without a doubt, the worst cohort I have ever seen. The banks are the pinatas of Washington. Why would I want to be in a Pinata unless I were one of those Hershey's kisses."
Under Armour (UA): "I didn't think the quarter was that good...they have higher costs...they are against Nike...they are all United States. UnderArmour...tear down that U.S. Wall!"
Medtronic (MDT): "I don't think that much of it...It has had a move. It is not an exciting stock. I don't see any catalyst."
