Stocks discussed on the Lightning Round session of Jim Cramer's Mad Money TV Program, Tuesday May 17.
Bullish Calls:
Dell (DELL), Apple (AAPL): "Dell delivered tonight...that is terrific news for CEO Michael Dell. It is good news for Apple because it shows there is a pulse. Dell very good. Apple even better."
CME (CME): "I think the world of exchanges is very cut throat and very competitive, but CME is king...they have done a lot of good things. I would buy it here with deep in the money calls."
Solar Capital (SLRC): "It is a bank of many resorts. It does many different things. It has a good yield...it seems to be working for them. I am going to endorse them...I want them to come on the show and tell me what they really do invest in."
Bearish Calls:
Sallie Mae (SLM): "I can't believe that move...I want you to take the profit and let the rest run. It is a very inexpensive stock and it could go to $20, but we don't want to be greedy...we nailed it."
Citigroup (C): "I'm not a fan of the banks. We had two days of outperformance. Maybe we can get a third and fourth. I don't like the banks. You are going to have to sit with that. I don't think you are going to see any real performance. That is dead in the water. The government changed the regime and the regime is not kind to companies like Citi."
