Known activist investor Daniel Loeb, through his Third Point LLC hedge fund, disclosed a "passive" 6.2% stake (2.1 million shares) in FEI Co. (FEIC).
Third Point did not show a stake in FEIC for the quarter ended September 30, 2006.
