Ahead of Marriott International's (NASDAQ:MAR) second quarter earnings announcement on Wednesday afternoon, I put together charts of the revenue per available room (REVPAR) for the various Marriott brands. These charts include the reported historical revenue per available room since 2006, as well as the consensus estimates for the second quarter. Quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year percentage changes in REVPAR are discussed below.

Renaissance Hotels & Resorts
The second quarter consensus estimate for the Renaissance brand is $110.40. This estimate is 6.3% above the first quarter REVPAR of $103.90 and 0.9% above the second quarter 2010 REVPAR of $109.40.

Marriott Hotels & Resorts
The namesake Marriott brand reported REVPAR of $105.00 in the first quarter. The second quarter estimate of $109.90 is a 4.7% quarter-over-quarter increase. The year-over-year change is -1.7% based on second quarter 2010 REVPAR of $111.90.



Ritz-Carlton
Marriott's luxury Ritz-Carlton brand faces a consensus REVPAR estimate of $229.50. This is 7.9% above the first quarter REVPAR of $212.80. The year-over-year increase is also approximately 7.9% based on second quarter 2010 REVPAR if $212.70.



Residence Inn
The consensus REVPAR estimate for the Residence Inn brand is $93.50. This is a 13.6% quarter-over-quarter increase from the first quarter REVPAR of $82.20. The year-over-year increase, based on second quarter 2010 REVPAR of $88.70, is 5.3%.



Courtyard
Analysts are looking for an 18.4% quarter-over-quarter increase in REVPAR for the Courtyard brand based on first quarter reported REVPAR of $69.30 and the second quarter estimate of $82.00. The year-over-year increase will be 9.6% based on this estimate and the second quarter 2010 reported REVPAR of $74.90.



TownePlace Suites
The TownePlace Suites brand reported REVPAR of $49.40 in the first quarter. The estimate of $60.20 will be a 21.9% increase. The year-over-year increase will be 14.9% based on the second quarter 2010 reported REVPAR of $52.40.



Springhill Suites
Springhill Suites reported REVPAR of $64.50 in the first quarter of 2011 and $67.50 REVPAR in the second quarter of 2010. The second quarter estimate of $72.00 will be a quarter-over-quarter and year-over-year increase of 11.7% and 6.7%, respectively.



All Brands
The REVPAR estimate for all of Marriott's brands is $97.70. This is a 4.63% increase from the first quarter's REVPAR of $93.40 but a 5.0% drop from last year's second quarter REVPAR of $102.90.
