Navellier & Associates was founded in 1980 by Louis G. Navellier. Based in Reno, Nevada, the firm focuses on growth investments. Navellier is the editor of four investment newsletters, Blue Chip Growth, Emerging Growth, Global Growth and Quantum Growth. Louis Navellier also authored a Business Week best seller, "The Little Book That Makes You Rich".

  1. Chipotle Mexican Grill (NYSE:CMG): CMG recently traded at $311.52 and gained 105.49% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $9.8 billion and P/E ratio of 51.5. Navellier had $74 million invested in CMG shares. In the first quarter, CMG opened 12 new restaurants. CMG plans to open 135 to 145 new restaurants in 2011, bringing total restaurant count to roughly 1220. On July 19th CMG reported financial results for its second quarter ended June 30, 2011. CMG's revenue for the second quarter was $571.6 million, up 22.4% from the prior year period. Net income for the first quarter of 2011 was $50.7 million, compared to $46.5 million in the second quarter of 2010.
  2. Baidu.com (NASDAQ:BIDU): BIDU recently traded at $140.99 and gained 62.94% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $49.2 billion and P/E ratio of 64.7.   3. Salesforce.Com (NYSE:CRM): CRM recently traded at $135.69 and gained 32.6% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $18.2 billion and P/E ratio of 222.4. Navellier had $68 million invested in CRM shares.
  4. AutoZone (NYSE:AZO): AZO recently traded at $278.74 and gained 34.4% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $11.6 billion and P/E ratio of 15.4. Navellier had $66 million invested in AZO shares. Eddie Lampert also had almost $2.89 billion of AutoZone shares at the end of March. Lampert reduced his AutoZone shares by 10.35% during the last quarter of 2010 and by another 5.84% during the first quarter of 2011. On July 18 IBM announced second-quarter net income of $3.7 billion compared with $3.4 billion in the second quarter of 2010, an increase of 8%.
  6. Cognizant Technology Solutions (NASDAQ:CTSH): CTSH recently traded at $67.94 and has gained 11.51% during the past 12 months. The stock has a market cap of $20.7 billion and P/E ratio of 26.6. Navellier had $61 million invested in CTSH shares.
