Jim Cramer is the host of CNBC's Mad Money and a director of TheStreet.com. In 1987, Cramer started his own hedge fund and returned an average of 24% per year between 1987 and 2001. Cramer has also written six money management books.

If our aim is buying low and selling high, then the initial price we pay for our new position is very important. We believe that analyzing stocks that are near their 52-week lows is a good starting point to find cheap stocks.

The stock has a market cap of $6.3 billion and P/E ratio of 8.3. Jim Simons’ Renaissance Technologies initiated $3.6 million position in CNH during the first quarter.

F5 Networks recently traded at $69.32 and lost 29.89% during the 30 days. Cramer repeated his buy recommendation of FFIV once during the last 30 days. The stock has a market cap of $5.6 billion and P/E ratio of 25.5.

Nucor recently traded at $31.51 and has a 4.6% dividend yield. NUE lost 22.45% during the 30 days. Cramer repeated his buy recommendation of NUE once during the last 30 days. The stock has a market cap of $10 billion and P/E ratio of 21.3. While Cramer is a fan of AK Steel Holding (AKS), he recommends buying NUE aggressively at $34 instead.

EOG Resources recently traded at $87.57 and has a 0.73% dividend yield. EOG lost 17.04% during the 30 days. Cramer repeated his buy recommendation of EOG twice during the last 30 days. The stock has a market cap of $98.2 billion and P/E ratio of 15.8. PEP raised its dividends from 48 cents to 51.5 cents last June, boosting its dividend yield to 3.19%. Boykin Curry, Bill Miller and Dillon are prominent PEP investors.

Kinder Morgan Energy recently traded at $66.25 and has a 6.94% dividend yield. KMP lost 8.04% during the 30 days. Cramer repeated his buy recommendation of KMP twice during the last 30 days. The stock has a market cap of $21.8 billion and P/E ratio of 114.2. In the past 5 years, KMP increased its dividend payments by 7.1% annually.
